UNIVERSAL PRAYER FOR PEACE…

Lead us from Death to Life, from Falsehood to Truth.

Lead us from Despair to Hope, from Fear to Trust.

Lead us from Hate to Love, from War to Peace.

Let Peace fill our hearts, our world, our universe.

Peace, Peace, Peace.

Ba Duan Jin... Eight Pieces of Brocade

‘The Eight Pieces of Brocade’ is the most widely known and practiced sequence of movements in Qigong.

It has been around for over a thousand years and was designed to move every joint, muscle and energy channel in the body.

These days there are many variations of it around…this is my version and the one I teach in my classes.

Qigong is Absolutely for Everyone

In this video I am giving a private lesson to a couple, Leanore and Anthony… under the shade of a tree in their back yard.
After a head injury over twenty years ago Anthony developed a rare neurological disorder (Spasmodic Cervical Dystonia). A painful condition causing muscles to contract involuntarily. It also causes the head to twist or turn to one side, and sometimes causes the head to uncontrollably tilt forward or backward.
There is no known cure for Spasmodic Cervical Dystonia other than treating the pain and some of the symptoms.
Anthony started practicing Qigong just 7 weeks ago and there has already been a remarkable improvement with his movements… and Leanore is progressing really well.too.

A few years ago I put together these few words…which

I say at the beginning and ending of every class that

I teach…I call it… ‘The Qigong prayer’

Qigong

Qigong is an ancient Chinese health care practice

that integrates slow physical movements, breathing

techniques, focused intention and meditation to gather,

store, cleanse, strengthen, and circulate

the vital energy (qi) within the body.

Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality,

a tranquil state of mind and higher self-awareness.
